Our designs are envisioned, cut, tested and made at beautiful Swara Acacia Lodge in Athi River. We merge our unique slow fashion creations with modern designs so you can look and feel great knowing that our pieces are new, yet not mass produced.
Where we are
Nested within a wildlife conservancy ranch in Athi River, we are surrounded by over 3000 game animals freely moving around us. This is our daily inspiration, living free and comfortably, yet staying true to the nature.

Our love for ankara and color is obvious. We adjust roots with modern, from day to night wear, maintain kindness to skin by using natural fabrics.
Most of all, we embrace slow fashion, some of our evergreen designs have been available to order since our early days. We need not overdesign, we create timeless designs that will get you noticed for years to come.

Inspired by wild nature
Our workshop is in the true African savanna, in Kenya. We find inspiration in over 3000 wild animals and over 220 species of birds that live and move freely around us while we work. Monkeys jump over our roof, wildebeests come to see what we are making, hyraxes try to hide here at night... Natural became a rare find. Natural fabrics, vibrant prints and comfortable designs stay longer in good shape than any of synthetic fibres, they are excellent temperature regulator, hypoallergenic and yet, we make them affordable to you. Finally, we care about waste and we specialise in made-to-order, hence keeping our ready made collection at bare minimum.
Who we are
Our artisans are often single mothers who support several family members. We also try to support artists who do not have the means to finance themselves and who invest the profit from their sales in their further education. When you buy one of our products, you directly help more people and families than you can possibly imagine. Our concept of love for what we do is another significant factor in mental, ethical and physical wellbeing of all of us who work here. We gather artisans who have passion for what they create on a daily basis, who aim to grow and improve, and who live and work together in our family beyond tribe, country or continent.
